Palm oil is an oil used in a lot of stuff. It is cheap, a little goes a long way, and it kills orangutans. Well, you need to cut down the trees where orangutans live in order to produce palm oil. In my project, I want to research the effects of palm oil on the rainforest, sustainable palm oil sources, alternatives, and simaler products. I also want to make a list of "safe" products that I will publish. I also want to look for ways to help the cause. I have been palm oil free for a while, but I want to see what else I can do. I can talk to people at the zoo, or my sister, who knows a lot about this topic.
